Consultancy Services Policy
HSE Counsel provides consultancy services to organisations, clients, and individuals, including audits, assessments, inspections, advisory support, and bespoke consultancy projects. All consultancy engagements are advisory in nature, and HSE Counsel’s role is to provide guidance, recommendations, and professional insight based on the information available at the time of engagement. Clients, whether new or existing, remain responsible for compliance with all statutory, contractual, and regulatory obligations, and for implementing any recommendations provided by HSE Counsel.
Consultancy services are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, proposal, or contract. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing between HSE Counsel and the client. HSE Counsel will exercise professional skill and care in delivering services, but the outcome of any consultancy advice depends on the accuracy and completeness of information provided by the client. HSE Counsel cannot be held responsible for decisions, actions, or omissions made by clients based on consultancy advice, and clients should exercise their own judgement and professional expertise in all matters.
Clients are responsible for providing HSE Counsel with timely access to sites, personnel, documents, and relevant information necessary to conduct consultancy services effectively. HSE Counsel is entitled to rely on the accuracy of information supplied by clients or third parties and will not be liable for any consequences arising from incomplete, misleading, or inaccurate data. Where on-site visits or inspections are required, clients must ensure that conditions are safe, that necessary PPE is available, and that HSE Counsel staff can carry out their duties without risk to health or safety.
HSE Counsel may work with existing clients on ongoing or follow-up consultancy projects, and all prior agreements, reports, or recommendations remain subject to review and confirmation in subsequent engagements. Consultancy materials, reports, and advice provided by HSE Counsel are intended solely for the client and may not be relied upon by third parties without written permission. By engaging HSE Counsel for consultancy services, clients acknowledge that they have read and agreed to this Consultancy Services Policy, and that it applies to both new and existing clients across all forms of consultancy work.
