Disabilities and Reasonable Adjustments Policy
HSE Counsel is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible learning and consultancy environment for all clients, learners, and participants, whether they are new or existing. We recognise that individuals may have disabilities, health conditions, or other specific needs that require reasonable adjustments to enable full participation in our training courses, workshops, assessments, or consultancy activities. Our aim is to ensure that everyone has equitable access to our services and can participate safely, effectively, and confidently.
Clients and learners are encouraged to disclose any disabilities, health conditions, or specific requirements at the time of booking or as soon as they become aware of the need for adjustments. This information will be handled confidentially and in accordance with our Data Protection Policy. HSE Counsel will work with clients, learners, and, where applicable, their employers to identify appropriate adjustments or support measures. Examples may include changes to course delivery methods, additional time for assessments, provision of alternative formats for materials, physical accessibility arrangements, or adjustments to on-site activities.
While HSE Counsel will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, certain adjustments may be subject to feasibility, safety considerations, or practical limitations of the training venue or service delivery. Clients and learners should provide sufficient notice to allow HSE Counsel to assess and implement the necessary arrangements. Existing clients returning for repeat courses or follow-up consultancy should also communicate any ongoing or new requirements to ensure continuity and accessibility in all engagements.
By participating in HSE Counsel services, clients and learners acknowledge their responsibility to provide accurate information regarding their needs and to cooperate with HSE Counsel in implementing reasonable adjustments. HSE Counsel remains committed to continuous improvement in accessibility and inclusion, regularly reviewing its facilities, resources, and practices to ensure compliance with equality legislation and industry best practice. This Disabilities and Reasonable Adjustments Policy applies to all services, including training, consultancy, and site visits, and forms an integral part of our commitment to fairness, equality, and professionalism.
