Health and Safety Policy
HSE Counsel is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all learners, clients, staff, and visitors, whether participating in training, consultancy, or other services. This policy applies to both new and existing clients, as well as any representatives, contractors, or employees attending our courses or on-site engagements. HSE Counsel recognises its responsibility to comply with all applicable health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices and expects all participants to share in this commitment.
Clients and learners are responsible for ensuring that they follow all instructions, procedures, and safety guidance provided during training or consultancy activities. This includes adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to HSE Counsel promptly. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the course or site without entitlement to a refund, in accordance with the Learner Conduct Policy.
For consultancy engagements that involve on-site visits, audits, inspections, or assessments, HSE Counsel will take reasonable steps to minimise risk and provide guidance to clients regarding health and safety requirements. Clients, however, are responsible for maintaining safe conditions at their premises, ensuring that HSE Counsel personnel have access to relevant areas, and providing accurate information about potential hazards. Any incidents occurring during a visit must be reported in line with HSE Counsel procedures and local regulatory obligations.
HSE Counsel continually reviews and updates its health and safety practices to reflect changes in legislation, guidance, and industry standards. By participating in training or consultancy services, clients and learners acknowledge their understanding of this Health and Safety Policy and agree to comply with all applicable procedures, whether they are new participants or returning clients attending follow-up courses or repeat consultancy engagements. This policy forms an integral part of our commitment to professionalism, risk management, and the wellbeing of everyone involved in HSE Counsel services.
