Responsibilities
Responsibilities
DSE safety is a shared responsibility between organisations and individuals. Both play important roles in reducing risk and promoting comfort and wellbeing.
Organisations
Organisations are responsible for assessing DSE workstations, providing information and guidance, and taking steps to reduce identified risks. This may include providing suitable equipment, offering training, and reviewing working arrangements when necessary.
Individuals
Individuals are responsible for using equipment correctly, following guidance provided, and reporting discomfort or problems with their workstation. Early reporting allows issues to be addressed before they develop into more serious health problems.
positive approach
A positive approach to DSE awareness encourages open communication and ongoing improvement. When people feel comfortable discussing concerns and making adjustments, risks can be managed more effectively.
This course has covered the key principles of DSE awareness, including the risks associated with screen use, how to set up a workstation correctly, and the importance of healthy working habits. Applying this knowledge in everyday situations can help reduce discomfort and support long-term health.
